Dress Code for Activities

Men:

  1. Preferably Track-Suit, Jeans or Trouser. No Shorts or Bermudas
  2. Shirts or T-Shirts preferably with long sleeves
  3. Sports Shoes or PT Shoes. Shoes with flexible rubber soles to provide a good grip along with socks. No leather soled shoes, slippers, sandals or bare feet

Women:

  1. Preferably Track-Suits, Jeans, Trousers or Salwars. No Saris, Skirts, Shorts or Bermudas
  2. Shirts or T-Shirts preferably with long sleeves
  3. Sports Shoes or PT Shoes. Shoes with flexible rubber soles to provide a good grip along with socks. No leather soled shoes, slippers, sandals or bare feet

Note:

  1. Dress Code as instructed is mandatory to carry out any activities
  2. Avoid expensive branded shoes as they tend to get damaged. Bata PT Shoes, ‘Hunter’ or ‘Jungle Boots’ or ‘Shikari’ from Duckback is ideal. Factor shoes with flexible PU soles can also be used.
  3. Avoid wearing tight fitting or baggy clothes
  4. Please carry a towel, soap and change of clothes as you might like to shower and change before leaving the campsite after the programme
  5. No toiletries will be provided at the campsite. Please bring your own towel & toiletries
  6. No hot water facility available at the campsite
  7. Avoid carrying valuables. Mongoose Camps Management is not responsible for any loss of valuables / money
  8. There are very limited mobile charging facilities available at the site and please ensure that your mobile phone is adequately charged
  9. Since the camp is located in a natural environment that remains home for mosquitoes and insects, please bring mosquito repellent spray or cream
  10. Do not move around barefoot in the campsite
  11. Lighting candle, incense sticks, mosquito coils, cigarette, etc. is strictly prohibited in the accommodation area of the campsite to prevent fire accident
Terms & Conditions
  1. It is mandatory that every participant is required to fill a Registration Form & an Indemnity Bond prior to the commencement of the programme.
  2. Dress Code as instructed is mandatory to carry out any activities
  3. Mongoose Camps Check in Time: 0900 hrs & Check out Time: 0800 hrs
  4. Maximum efforts are made to ensure the safety of the participants. However, Mongoose Camps, its management or employees cannot be held responsible for fatalities or injuries of any nature, mental or physical, whether caused directly or indirectly due to any indoor / outdoor activities.
  5. The fees are fixed for a group consisting of a specific number of participants as per the schedule and administrative / logistic details agreed upon. Any change in these details will entail a revision of the fees. Cancellations are not permitted.
  6. The final minimum guaranteed number of participants has to be given to us at least 72 hours in advance. Failing which the number of participants given in the proposal shall be taken as the minimum guaranteed number to be billed. Accommodation of additional members without prior notice is subject to feasibility.
  7. In the event that the advance / balance is not received by the due dates, Mongoose Camps reserves the right to cancel the programme and refund all amounts received after deducting any expenses incurred.
  8. Children will be charged full rates for all activities.
  9. Children above 5 years will be charged full rates on boarding and lodging. Children other than babes-in-arms up to 5 years will be charged 50% on food only.
  10. The Air Conditioner will be switched on only between 2100 hrs and 0600 hrs and are subject to availability of electricity / required voltage.
  11. The tents get hot during the day and are not conducive for occupation during day time.
  12. In the event that Mongoose Camps has to postpone / delay / curtail / cancel the programme for any reason, the fees may be refunded or the programme carried forward. In all these cases, the liability of Mongoose Camps is limited only to refunding of the fees on a pro rata basis.
  13. No refunds will be given for absentees, late arrivals, individuals who cannot participate because they are not dressed as specified in the dress code or who cannot participate / complete the programme for any other reasons.
  14. Outdoor Activities are subject to weather condition and no refund will be entertained in case of not carrying out of any activities due to unavoidable circumstances
  15. Any expenses besides those covered by the fees (Medical, local transport arrangements, entry / camera fee to any place of visit, etc.) will NOT be borne by Mongoose Camps.
  16. Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
  17. Dinner service will be closed by 2130 hrs.
  18. Being in the vicinity of the bird sanctuary, loud music can’t be played inside the campsite.
  19. Any damage, other than that attributable to fair wear and tear, to the Mongoose Camps properties by the participants will be billed to you. Our decision on all such matters will be final and binding.
  20. Please take prior clearance from us if you plan to bring in any facilitators or faculty (internal / external).
  21. People under the influence of alcohol or with the smell of alcohol on their breath will not be permitted to participate in the activities.
  22. Mongoose Camps reserves the right to debar / withdraw an individual from the programme if he / she is found to be behaving in an unsuitable manner. No refunds will be given for such individuals.
  23. Mongoose Camps reserves the right to use any or all photographs / videos taken during the programme for publicity.
  24. Based on safety and weather considerations or the logistical reasons, Mongoose Camps reserves the right to change or alter the activities as well as food menu without prior information to the client.
  25. Avoid carrying valuables. Mongoose Camps Management is not responsible for any loss of valuables / money.
  26. All disputes are subject only to Chennai jurisdiction.
